Daphne Gobius du Sart - Vocals
Let me introduce myself. My name is Daphne Gobius du Sart and since 2005, I am the vocalist of Evil's Desire. As a child there wasn't a place were I wouldn't sing. I started my singing career with a children's choir in The Hague called 'Het Haags Kinderkoor'. At the choir I enjoyed a proper singing education. We also recorded a few cd's and toured through Europe. After that I started taking pop- singing lessons. Following a break of a few years I took lessons from the famous dutch singer 'Floor Jansen' known from the bands 'After Forever' and 'Revamp'. I learned so much from her. One never stops learning still I am singing all the time and keeping my eye out for new techniques and singers. Even though I used to sing either classical or pop, my passion lies in combining the two. Why limit yourself? My heart goes out to gothic/symphonic metal. At home I write music and lyrics for Evil's Desire. Due to our different musical backgrounds we as Evil's Desire are able to produce a sound that is both familiar as progressive.
Eric Mol - Guitar / Vocals
I've been playing the guitar since I was eleven. I started singing around the same time, but it didn't get serious untill the Violent Queen* era (*my other band from which Evil's Desire partly was founded but still co exist next to Evil's Desire).

Together with Gert-Jan I've been playing in the band for a long time and seen quite a few other musicians come and go. I have written a lot of songs since then. Before Violent Queen there were other projects by the name of: Nuclear Forces, No Compromise and Terminal Disease. After that I participated shortly in other bands but always returned to my roots, Violent Queen. From Violent Queen came the band Evil's Desire and with the addition of two new members, vocalist Daphne Gobius du Sart and keyboardist Johan Seinen, in 2005. A new sound was born. In Evil's Desire I am gitarist, vocalist and fellow composer. Besides the musical part of the band I maintain the band's website and grafical aspects.
Johan Seinen - Keyboards
The apple didn't fall far from the tree when it comes to music in my family. My father used to play electric organ and there lie my roots. As long as I can remember I am inseparable from my keyboard. When in the late 80's the keyboard became affordable I switched from organ to keyboard right away. I did not have any band experience at the time, but I did enjoy playing at special occasions very much. In '98 I moved from Rotterdam to Hellevoetsluis and got introduced to the special music scene of MOH (musical organisation of Hellevoetsluis), musical cafés 'Het Mach' and 'Het Barbiertje'. After a short try out I joined the power-funk formation 'Tricky Licks' in 2002. We mainly played funk, fushion, hip hop and rock covers.

I took the stage with this band a few times, including twice at Wallenpop (pop festival in Hellevoetsluis). All good things must come to an end and in early 2005 the band decided to call it quits. Even back then I enjoyed the music of After Forever and would very much like to do something in this musical genre. I knew Gert-Jan and one thing led to another...
Vincent Reedijk - Bass
In the contrary to most musicians I started playing quite late. At the age of 15 I started playing electrical guitar. One later later I got my first bass guitar. At the time I went to school with Gert -Jan's brother. Gert-Jan played in a band called Violent Queen and in a cover band which needed a bass player, and so I joined the cover band. Late '91 the rhythm guitarist of Violent Queen quit and the former bass player decided to play the guitar and thus opening the spot for me. I have been playing with Eric and Gert-Jan ever since. After that, a few musicians came and went. In the end Daphne and Johan joined the band and with them, the music changed drastically. This formation would be known as Evil's Desire. I really like this music and hope you do to.

Gert-Jan Mulder - Drums
Let me introduce myself, Gert-Jan, drummer. together with Eric the founder of the bands No Compromise, Terminal Disease, Violent Queen and now Evil's Desire. This all since late 1988 when we were based in youth centre Uprising (now known as Bravo) in Brielle. Apart from my collaboration with Eric I always had one or several projects on the side since 1991. Crown (pop/rock covers), Snakeskin Cowboys (bluesrock), Optical Illusion (alternative), Skindeep (rock), and the still alive and kicking sixties rockband Kinksize, just to name a few. Besides those bands and projects I always enjoy the yearend sessions at the stage of our rehearsal place MACH, where unique musical formations are formed for the occasion. It is always good to broaden your horizon and enjoy good company of course...
My musical influences are bands as Rush, Dream Theater and in the very past, Golden Earring. Besides these bands I listen to Opeth, After Forever, the Gathering, Ayreon, Iron Maiden, Nightwish, Within Temptation and so on. I hope many people will listen to us too.
